Self-billing agreement
Version 2026-10 · Last updated: 12 October 2026
1. Who this agreement is between
This agreement is between CUBEXLUMINA LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17384754, with its registered office at 32 Manor Square, Dagenham, United Kingdom, RM8 3SA, trading as REVPOS (the “Customer”, “we” or “us”), and the self-employed tradesperson who accepts it from their REVPOS account (the “Supplier” or “you”).
You carry out building, finishing and maintenance work that we sell to our customers. For that work you are our supplier and we are your customer.
2. What self-billing means
Normally the supplier sends an invoice to the customer. Under self-billing it is the other way round: we, the customer, prepare the invoice for the work you supplied to us and issue it on your behalf. You do not send us invoices for the work covered by this agreement.
3. What we agree to do
We agree to:
issue a self-billed invoice for every job of yours that our customer has paid through REVPOS, for as long as this agreement runs;
show on each invoice your name, your address, your VAT registration number if you have one, and the other details that make up a full invoice;
mark each invoice clearly as a self-billed invoice and number it in an unbroken series;
make each invoice available in your REVPOS account as soon as it is issued and tell you by e-mail;
ask you to accept a new agreement if your VAT registration number changes;
tell you if we ever hand the issuing of these invoices to another business.
4. What you agree to do
You agree to:
accept the self-billed invoices we issue on your behalf while this agreement runs;
not issue your own sales invoices for the work covered by this agreement;
keep your details in your REVPOS account correct: name, address, Unique Taxpayer Reference and, if you are registered, VAT number;
tell us straight away if you become registered for VAT, change your VAT registration number, stop being registered for VAT, or sell your business or part of it.
5. What an invoice shows
Each invoice shows the value of the work paid by the customer, our commission as shown to you when you created the payment link, and the amount payable to you. Where VAT applies between us, the invoice says how it is accounted for.
Any deduction the law requires us to make from what we pay you, for example under the Construction Industry Scheme, is shown to you separately.
6. Checking an invoice
Please read each invoice when it is issued. If something on it is wrong, tell us from your account within 5 working days. We either issue a corrected invoice, which replaces the first one and carries a new number, or we explain why the invoice stays as it is.
After the 5 working days you can still write to us and we will look at it.
7. How long the agreement runs
The agreement starts on the day you accept it and runs for 12 months. Before it ends we ask you to confirm it again in your account. Either of us can end it earlier by telling the other in writing; invoices already issued stay valid.
8. Your own tax
You remain self-employed. You are responsible for declaring this income and for paying the Income Tax and National Insurance due on it, and the VAT if you are registered. Keep the invoices: you need them for your tax return.
9. Law
This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales.
