Terms and conditions

1. Who we are
The REVPOS service is provided by CUBEXLUMINA LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17384754, with its registered office at 32 Manor Square, Dagenham, United Kingdom, RM8 3SA (the “Company”, “we” or “us”). You can reach us by phone and WhatsApp on +44 7337 667 897 or by e-mail at contact@revpos.co.uk.
2. Definitions
The Work means the building, finishing or maintenance work you order. The Quote is the written document in which we describe the Work, the price, the timescale and how payment is made. The Customer or “you” is the individual or business ordering the Work. A Consumer is a Customer who is an individual acting for purposes wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession. The Tradesperson is the self-employed subcontractor we engage to carry out the Work.
3. What we do
We carry out bricklaying, plastering, painting and decorating, floor and wall tiling, flooring and plasterboard work, as well as repairs and maintenance. The Work is carried out by Tradespeople chosen and paid by us.
Your contract is with the Company. You have no contract with the Tradesperson. We are responsible to you for the Work.
4. The Quote and your order
You describe the job through the quote form on the site, by phone or by e-mail, and send photos and measurements. Where needed, we visit the property. On that basis we send you the Quote, which sets out the work, the price, the timescale, the materials you need to buy, the amounts and dates of payment and how long the Quote remains open for acceptance.
The contract is formed when you accept the Quote in writing, by message or e-mail. The accepted Quote, together with these terms, forms the contract. Where the Quote says something different from these terms, the Quote applies.
5. Price and extra work
The price of the Work is the one in the accepted Quote, in pounds sterling. For Consumers, the price in the Quote is the total price, including VAT where it applies.
If work that is not in the Quote becomes necessary along the way, for example a wall that turns out to be in worse condition than it looked, we stop that part of the job, show you the situation and send a new or amended quote. Extra work is carried out only after you have accepted it in writing.
6. Payment
Payment is made by card, online, through an authorised payment processor. You receive a payment link, from us or from the Tradesperson, for the agreed amount and pay on the processor's secure page. We do not see or store your card details. The Quote states whether payment is made once or in stages.
For every amount paid, we send an invoice or receipt to the e-mail address you give us.
We do not take cash and do not collect money through Tradespeople. An amount handed directly to the Tradesperson is not a payment to the Company and does not discharge the payment due under the Quote.
7. Carrying out the work
The Work starts on the date agreed with you and is carried out within the timescale in the Quote. You provide access to the property at the agreed times, water and electricity, and clear the working area of items that could be damaged.
The timescale is extended by the length of any delay outside our control: lack of access, materials supplied late by you, extra work you have accepted, or conditions that could not be seen before work began. We tell you as soon as such a delay arises.
You are responsible for any planning permission, Building Regulations approval, landlord's or freeholder's consent the Work may need. We do not start work that requires them until you confirm they are in place.
8. Materials
You buy the materials needed for the Work. With the Quote we give you a list of what is needed and how much. You are responsible for their quality, quantity and timely delivery; we are not liable for defects in the Work caused by the materials. The price in the Quote covers the work only, unless the Quote says otherwise.
9. Handover and putting things right
When the Work is finished, you check it together with us or the Tradesperson. If something does not match the Quote, tell us in writing, by message or e-mail, with photos.
We carry out the Work with reasonable care and skill. If the Work is not carried out with reasonable care and skill, or not as the Quote describes, we put it right free of charge and within a reasonable time. If that is impossible, or is not done within a reasonable time, a Consumer is entitled to an appropriate price reduction. These are your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and nothing in these terms reduces them.
10. A Consumer's right to cancel
Where you are a Consumer and the contract is made at a distance or away from our business premises, you may cancel within 14 days of the day the contract is made, without giving a reason, by a clear statement sent to the contact details in section 1. You may use the model form below, but you do not have to. We refund amounts you have paid within 14 days of the day you tell us, by the same means of payment, at no charge to you.
We start the Work before the 14 days have passed only if you expressly ask us to. If you then cancel after work has begun, you pay for the part of the Work carried out up to the time you tell us, in proportion to the price in the Quote. Once the Work has been fully carried out at your express request, and you acknowledged beforehand that you would lose it, the right to cancel ends.
Model cancellation form: “To CUBEXLUMINA LTD, 32 Manor Square, Dagenham, RM8 3SA: I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the work in quote no. [quote number], accepted on [date]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Date: [date].”
11. Ending the job early
Apart from the case in section 10, you may end the job at any time by message. In that case you pay for the work carried out up to that date. We may stop the Work if an amount in the Quote is not paid on time or if you do not provide access, after giving you notice and a reasonable period to put it right.
12. Our responsibility to you
We are not responsible for defects arising from the hidden condition of the building, from work done by other people, from materials you supplied or from use of the property contrary to the advice given at handover. If you are a business, we are not liable for loss of profit or business interruption.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Nothing in these terms affects a Consumer's statutory rights.
13. Personal data
How we use your personal data is described in the Privacy policy.
14. Complaints and disputes
Send any complaint to the contact details in section 1. We acknowledge it promptly and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a Consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
15. Changes
We may change these terms. The new version is published here, with its date, and applies to quotes accepted after publication. Work already under way is governed by the terms in force when its Quote was accepted.
